# ci265 Cosmonaut is planting trees in American school

To personalize the visit,Soyuz TMA-21 commander Alexander "Sasha" in Russian as he's known, with the children planted two trees as a symbolic gesture.  Cosmonauts have
planted trees traditionally in Russia on their return from space flight.
In The United States it was done for the first time and hopefully a new great tradition will start.

The trees are now a lasting memorial for  the kids in the school and will be
talked about for a long long time.
