Original aircraft designed by Myasishchev` OKB in mid 80-s as a part of famous M-67 project included various aircraft for high altitude flights with optical equipment on board.These works were performed by order of Ministry of Deffence as a respond to SDI (Strategic Deffence Initiative) projects from USA side.Original aircraft is a non pilot alternative of high altitude carrier of special spy optical equipment complex.
