Original patch came from Engels air base of startegic TU-160 bombers and this particular piece received from pilots operated aircraft #05 `Ilya Muromets`.On the top of patch depicted Tu-160 and reads `Long range aviation`. In center Russian airforce flag and below depicted legendary `Ilya Muromets` 4-engined bomber of Igor Sikorskiy built in Russia in 1913. World`s largest aircraft of that time received a name of famous folk tail character- Gentle Giant Russian Knight Ilya Muromets.
