Official logo patches of Gromov`s Flight Research Institute worn by cosmonauts of this famous Center in Zhukovskiy.Most of pilot-cosmonauts of Gromov`s institute participated in flights of Buran analog and Energia-Buran program.Three of them-Igor Volk,Viktor Afanasyev and Anatoliy Levchenko flown in space on board of Soyuz T/Salyut-7 and Soyuz TM/MIR stations.Pilots-cosmonauts of Institute Stankyavichus, Sultanov, Tolboyev, Sheffer, Zabolotskiy, Tresvyatskiy and Schyukin prepared to space flights as back up cosmonauts.
