Complicate and detailed metal model of Soviet Moon spaceship Zond-3 on wooden stand. Zond-3 was launched by large Proton carrier rocket into solar orbit 18 July, 1965 on a fly-by of the Moon to take pictures of the remaining portions of the Moon`s far side not sent by Luna-3.Of 28 pictures taken, 23 contained images of the lunar surface, three of them in the ultraviolet region of the spectrum.These pictures, combined with those of Luna-3, left only 5 per cent of the far side remeining to be seen.
