Soyuz TMA-11 patch can be noticed in hand of flight commander -Russian Air Forces Colonel, Veteran Pilot-Cosmonaut Yuri Malenchenko.During Cosmonautics lessons to Samuel Panchenko Yuri talks about his flights on Soyuz,MIR,Shuttle,ISS and in general about 50 years history of Cosmos exploration since Sputnik 1957.
The idea of design was simple and without various complex symbols etc.As base element of patch design first time used original photo of Soyuz TMA at orbit.Autor of photo-cosmonaut Salizhan Sharipov (Yuri's back up for Soyuz TMA-11).Photo was taken by S.Sharipov at ISS when Soyuz TMA flown by Sergei Krikalev was getting close to station for docking.Below the ship indicated year 2007.
