OWN A PIECE OF HISTORY FROM PEOPLE WHO MADE SPACE HISTORY.
Soviet-Russian Cosmonautics has always played a key role in World Space Exploration, and during its long glorious history has had a great number of accomplishments. From many years of friendship with legendary cosmonauts of all generations and engineers, designers, and space officials, I was able to accumulate thousands of unique items that commemorate the glorious accomplishments of Soviet-Russian space history.
Materials presented in the Space Collectibles section came from personal archives of cosmonauts who flew on the Vostok, Voskhod and Soyuz spacecraft. These materials include objects flown on board Soviet/Russian spacecraft and the International Space Station and the Salyut and MIR space stations. There are Items from the personal collections of rocket launch team officers at the Baikonur and Plesetsk Cosmodromes, and materials from the Spaceflight Control Center and the Cosmonaut Training Center in Star City.
A major part of collection consists of award and presentation materials from the USSR/Russian Cosmonautics Federation, including diplomas, medals, desktop display items, and models.
???Models??? is one of the special areas in the collection. Custom handmade by NPO Energia, Molniya, Uzhmash, Khrunichev Space Center, the models are exclusives made for Russian Space Agency officials, display in Russian Space Museums, and presentations to cosmonauts, scientists, designers and launch team. A number of presentation models were ordered by Cosmonautics Federation for official award ceremonies and presentations during anniversaries of Sputnik flights, Vostk and Voskhod flights, birthday anniversaries of Korolev and Tsiolkovskiy, etc.
Most of these materials have never before been available to the public, and are one-of-a kind items to be sold on a first come, first served base.
I have not attempted to display on my website each of the thousands of items I have; there are far too many distinctive items to catalog. Please call me (818) 999-1134 or e-mail with your specific interest and I will provide info on several additional items that are not on the site.
For those of you who are new in collecting of Soviet/Russian space artifacts I would recommend to start from literature.
Please feel free to contact me with any questions on background origin of items and other questions and requests.
I'll be glad to help you.
