Legendary Soviet/Russian cosmonaut Sergei Krikalev soon will fly as commander of Soyuz TMA-6/ISS-11 expedition.
Sergei became a cosmonaut in 1985 and has gone on to become perhaps the most experienced space traveler alive.In completing his fifth space flight, Krikalev logged more than 1 year, 5 months and 10 days in space, including seven EVA`s and after his next long duration mission Sergei will meet a new duration record on orbit (at present this record hold Russian cosmonaut Sergei Avdeyev-748 days flown on MIR station).
