Outstanding quality and details Yakovlev Design Bureau model of first Soviet Naval vertical take off and landing fighter plane Yak-36.Originaly model displayed on own landing gears.As option plane can be displayed on metal stand with engraved logo Yak on base.Price and availability check by e-mail or call.Few words about this unusual design experimental aircraft.The Yak-36 flew in 1966 and at least two are known to have been built (Yakovlev factory sources confirm that 12 planes were produced).They performed important research into stability and control issues, and at least one was used for deck landing trials aboard the MOSKVA (MOSCOW) cruiser.Yak-36 led to the first operational Soviet VTOL aircraft Yak-38.
