# gb204 Exploration of nature from the board of orbital stations book.

The monograph analyses and generalizes the results of environmental studies from manned spacecraft. The data of visual observations by astronauts are, first, discussed in great detail with the purpose of investigating some optical phenomena occuring in the atmosphere.Important the observations of the night horizon, twilight horizon and the day one wich have led to the discovery of the vertical ray-like structure of the upper atmospheric day radiation. From the `Soyuz` spacecraft data detailed consideration are made concerning the interpretation of the Earth`s surface photographs in the interests of geology and geomorphology, geobotany, hydrology, soil science and other Earth sciences. A large section of the book is devoted to the application of the technique of space spectrophotometric measurements for the study of atmospheric aerosol, for the solution of the problem of the identification and characterization of natuarl formations from their reflection spektra, and for the determination of the atmospheric transfer function which knowledge is indispensable for the exclusion of the distorting influence of the atmospheric thickness. The data and results of thecomplex subsatellite geophysical experiments first conducted in the USSR are described. The book is published for specialists in the field of astronautics and Earth sciences.Came from library of cosmonaut Grechko.Signed and notared by him.
