`Third height` book written by G.Somov and published in 1975 is devoted to his close friend-cosmonaut-12 Georgi Beregovoy.Name of this book is symbolic.First height of Beregovoy was WWII and his heroic battles on IL-2 `Shturmoviks`.Second height of Beregovoy was a period of testing new fighter aircraft after war period.And his third height is space flight on Soyuz-3 in 1968. Georgi Beregovoy was oldest from all cosmonauts and was the only famous pilot, participant of WWII flown in space.He had Star Hero of Soviet Union still from war times.
