First day on board of station 28 April, 2003 Yuri Malenchenko cancelled card with three ISS handstamps: small round stamp of ISS-7 expedition, Main stamp of ISS Russian section and large round dated ISS stamp.Front and reverse sides of card commander Malenchenko autographed as well. Autor of artwork A.Sokolov was born in 1931 and known worldwide as one of leading Space artists.Professional architect A.Sokolov created several of his works together with pilot-cosmonaut and artist Alexei Leonov.Works of Sokolov published in books, catalogs, stamps, postcards. Reverse side of card has printed info on this artwork from words of artist: The spot had been chosen for Luna-16 to land on.With the small-thrust engines thrown in, it looks like the apparatus were suspended over the lunar surface.The glimmering spherical halo in the rocket`s bottom was not the painter`s fancy but the effect of engine operation in cosmic vacuum.
