12.5 x 6.5 inches Soviet flag flown in USSR-India Intercosmos flight Soyuz T-11 to Salyut-7 space station and carried to orbit by flight commander Yuri Malyshev.Flag was signed on Salyut-7 by Malyshev and Rakesh Sharma (first citizen of India flown in space).
Flag spent 7 days, 21 hours and 41 minutes in flight and after mission was presented to Georgi Grechko, who was a back up cosmonaut preparing to this flight as well.Grechko kept a flag in collection along with flags previously flown with him on Salyut-6.
