# ff105 Soyuz-28/Salyut-6 flown Czechoslovakian flag

9.5 x 6.5 inches silk Czechoslovakian flag carried on board of Soyuz-28 to Salyut-6 station by first Intercosmos team USSR-CSSR. Vladimir Remek, the first non-Soviet, non-American space traveler and Soviet commander Alexei Gubarev joined Romanenko and Grechko aboard Salyut-6 on March 3 for a week of experiments. Same day Soyuz -26 cosmonauts Gubarev and Remek signed flag on board of Salyut-6 station as souvenir for main expedition crew. Flag remained aboard till end of Grechko-Romanenko main expedition flight. During our last meeting Georgi Grechko signed flag and hand notared FLOWN ON SALYUT-6. I`ve also photographed flag with Grechko and Romanenko (second and third images).
What makes this flag special? While Soviet flags carried on orbit before, this flag was first not soviet country flag on board of Soviet station in first world's record flight 96 days in 1978.
