# acc105 Soyuz-6,7,8 cosmonauts autographed cover

Envelope from a letter sent from Latvian Soviet Republic to German Democratic Republic in 1969 with attached stamps depicted 3 teams of cosmonauts flown in First joint flight `Space squadron` Soyuz-6, Soyuz-7 and Soyuz-8. Autographed by all 7 cosmonauts of this historic mission next to their portraits on stamps. From left to right: Georgi Shonin and Valeriy Kubasov; Anatoliy Filipchenko, Vladislav Volkov and Viktor Gorbatko; Vladimir Shatalov and Alexei Yeliseyev. Any items originaly signed by all members of flight very difficult to find these days. Vladislav Volkov killed in 1971 on board Salyut-1/Soyuz-11. Georgi Shonin passed away in 90-s.Still living members of this flight practicaly do not longer have anything left available signed by all seven. Such complete signed group is one of most desirable for collectors. And of course it is a subject to fake (most often missed signature of Vladislav Volkov faked). Receiver of this letter german collector Otto Nowitzki same year was in Cosmonaut Training Center where all members of flight placed their autographs below their portraits on stamps.
