15.5 inches very unusual red plastic lamp (night lamp) which depicts the launching of a rocket.The red light on the circular base creates the illusion of red plume of fire from the thrust.Around the base there are images of Soviet propaganda, including space designs.This is one of two lamps from personal archives of Andrian Nikolayev (Vostok-3, Soyuz-9 cosmonaut), shared back in 2001.

This is a first edition of such unusual style souvenir night lamp made in Soviet Union back in 1972.Lamp made to be used with electric power 220 v (Russia and Europe), but still provide light with 110 v (USA).
