4 x 6 inches published in the USSR in 1989 card depicting American artist Pamela Lee pinting TOGETHER TO MARS flown 6 months on board Soyuz TMA-2 and International Space Station with Russia-USA ISS-7 team comander-cosmonaut Yuri Malenchenko. On first day aboard ISS after docking Soyuz TMA-2(April 28,2003) card was cancelled with ISS-7 stamps on front side and 3 ISS stamps on reverse side.Both sides of card also signed by commander Malenchenko.Price of this card-*Availability and price check by e-mail or call.*. On back side of card in Russian and English printed info on Pamela Lee and her art.Original artwork presented on this card symbolizes cooperative future flight by USA and Soviet Cosmonauts.Painting done in 1986 during the Cold War, at the time when no one could tell yet, that 10 years after Russia and USA will have joint flights on Russian station MIR and later will work together on the ISS. Pamela Lee (born in 1949) is a professional illustrator with deep interest in space exploration.She holds a BFA degree from the University of Arizona, and received postgraduate training at Pasadena Art Center School and San Francisco of Art.Her work has appeared in museum and planetarium exhibitions.Ms.Lee`s sketches have been critiqued in orbit by Astronaut William Fisher (Shuttle flight 51-1, 1985).
